Pouring snares

We all know how heavy it rained last month and it's impact. Well it wasn't just us humans that had to deal with it but even the wildlife. We were driving in the grasslands around Pune near Mayureshwar Wildlife Sanctuary. The road that used to beg for rain now was drenched and muddy. We wondered how we would make it to the tar road with the water on the park tracks. And then, we spotted a lone Chinkara standing by itself getting hammered y the rain. I photographed the animal and as I reviewed the image, I realized it had a snare by it's neck. This incident was reported to the department later.
