Focus, When a Jungle cat is determined to hunt

One often is driven to find the Tiger when visiting a Tiger Reserve. Well, nothing wrong about it, we all do. But this intention to see the big cat often gets converted into obsession. And in all this we often forget to observe other creatures in the jungle. I was blessed with great guests in December who decided to explore Panna Tiger Reserve a a whole. We were a lone vehicle on the Hinauta plateau when we bumped upon this Jungle Cat. It was determined to make a kill. we kept safe distance from the small cat and it let us observe her for over an hour. In this we saw her make many failed hunt attempts. Later as the light faded she decided to get some rest and sat real close to the road, undisturbed by our presence. I was real pleased with this experience as in most cases Jungle cats evade a scene when humans are spotted.
