Crossing the creek

We drifted in a boat in Sunderbans as we kept get tiny glimpses of a Tiger in the dense vegetation. I was happy that we had witnessed a rare sight. And so I watched. But there was no way I could get a clean shot of the tiger. That is when I remembered the habitat of the mangrove tigers. They are known to cross small creeks during low tide. And that's when I had to take a tough call. I to to either choose to sail along the bank to continue watching the tiger or go by my gut and take my chance at the nearest creek crossover. Problem with sail along the bank was that the boats us Sunderbans are slow and the diesel engine would have startled the tiger at the time of the crossing. So I went by my gut, went to the creek, turned the engine off and waited. Soon enough we had the tiger in front of us...
